• Write Matlab/Octave codes giving frequency- and time domain forms of the following filters:
  • Multiplication of amplitude by a factor
  • Time shift of the record by a fixed number of sampling time increments
  • Time shift by an non-integer number of sampling time increments
  • Constant phase rotation of the wavelet  
  • Recursive deghosting filter 

Osama:

• Write Matlab/Octave codes giving frequency- and time domain forms of the following filters:
  • Hilbert transform filter
  • Zero-phase band-pass filter
  • Attenuation filter by a specified Q factor ("Q-filter")
  • Zero-phase deconvolution filter for the output of the preceding Q-filter

All examples should be illustrated by impulse response (response of the filter to a spike, or time-domain signature of the  filter) and application to Ricker wavelet.
