Initially, SIA job monitor was written to maintain and extend DISCO processing. About30 tools written in Fortran and C by the University of Wyoming students and visitors were ported into the system by using the "_disco" library coated for this purpose. The library provides Fortran parameter I/O subroutines, common blocks, and also emulation of the "core" memory arrays and Array Processor used by DISCO codes. However, only two of the UW DISCO-based modules still remain in the package, and the interface is no longer actively used.
