For data analysis parts of these labs, you will need to familiarize yourself with:
Matlab (for Windows or Linux; for a starter, here is a brief Matlab Primer),
Vista seismic processing system (Windows).
Lab reports should be prepared using a text processor (MS Word or another). Fill in any math by hand, or use Equation Editor in Word (Insert -> Equation...), if you would like to get fancy.
Weekly assignments are due on Tuesday the following week. 20%/week will be taken off the original mark for late reports (so, after 5 weeks, the assignment will expire). Exceptions made in exceptional circumstances only.
